The Cut, Slash & Bite Resistant Zipped Hoodie has been designed to help protect Teachers and Education Assistants from children that bite, scratch and pinch.
The hoodie is also an extremely covert way of being protected from edged weapons within an urban environment.
The inner material is made from DSM Dyneema® with a cut resistant level of A4 (ANSI 105-2016/ASTM F2992 – TDM 100) and with breathable cotton on the outside.
CUT RESISTANT LEVEL 5 – EN 388:2003
Dyneema® is made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) and offers maximum strength with minimum weight. This makes the number of possible applications virtually unlimited.

The picture color is a bit off. It is a solid black. It looks like a normal black hoodie but has a little bit of weight to it. The interior has a metallic feel to it and reflects the Dyneema shown in the example. 4 stars for excellent concealed look. I’ll update with 5 stars if I get tested to Resistant parts of the hoodie.

True to standard sizes. More comfortable than I thought it would be. Wish there was a level 9 cut protection hoodie option. Has asian zipper, where zipper is on the left side instead of the right.

Doppelganger for a Hane’s EcoSmart hoodie, the zipper is the weakest link. The dainty zipper is puckered and wavy when brand new so I’m not too optimistic about running it through the washer. For clothing designed to potentially stop edged weapons, I feel that it wouldn’t be too much to ask to have a decent zipper with an underlay or wind guard so there isn’t a huge vulnerability right at center of gravity.
