This Limited Warranty applies to products purchased from BAC Tactical. Last updated June 2026.
What this warranty covers
Body Armour Canada Ltd. (BAC Tactical) warrants its protective garments and arm guards against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase.
What it does not cover
- Normal wear and tear, fading, or gradual deterioration over time;
- Damage from misuse, accident, improper care, alteration, or washing contrary to the care instructions;
- Cuts, punctures, or damage sustained while the product is performing its protective function — a cut-resistant garment that resists or absorbs a blade as intended is working, not defective;
- Products purchased from unauthorised resellers.
Important — protection is not a guarantee against injury
Our products reduce, but do not eliminate, the risk of injury. Cut, bite, slash and puncture-resistance ratings reflect laboratory testing of materials under controlled conditions. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only; it is not a guarantee that the product will prevent injury in any given situation.
How to make a claim
To make a warranty claim, contact us through our contact page with your proof of purchase and a description (and, where possible, photographs) of the issue.
Our remedy
If a valid defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the product, or issue a refund, at our discretion. This is your sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.
Governing law
This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and is in addition to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
